FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
This IC is a 3−phase, full−wave brushless DC motor driver of the current−control / current−drive type.
It contains in its upper stage a PNP discrete power transistor, which, because of the Multi−Chip Package (MCP)
structures provides high torque and thermal efficiency.
In addition, when combined with a switching regulator, its efficiency can be increased still further.
Control amp input circuit
The Common mode input voltage ranges for both VC and Vref are 1.0 to 4.0 V.
The control input−to−drive output gain is 1.0A / V (typ.), whose characteristic is shown below.
The input is provided with a dead−zone area whose voltage width is 100 mV (typ.)
