External Memory Controller
An integrated External Memory Controller (EMC)
provides a glueless interface to external SDRAM, Low
Power SDRAM, Flash, SRAM, ROM, and burst ROM.
Three remap options for the physical memory are
selectable by software, as shown in Figure 5 through
Figure 8.
The EMC supports six banks of external memory. Two
chip selects for synchronous memory, and either two
(LH79525) or four (LH79524) static memory chip selects
are available. The static interface also includes two
(LH79525) or four (LH79524) byte lane enable signals.
