5.1 Electrical description
The SSD is connected with a standard 7 pin SATA connector and a standard 15 pin SATA power connector.
2 SSD types were offered: 5V power supply at P7…P9 (standard types) or 3.3V at P1…P3 (3V3 types)

by the host, a current goes through this pin.
In firmware “2” and higher this pin is only driven low as optional specified in the SATA-Specification
“SerialATA_Revision_3_0_Gold”
