2.1 Software Support

Freescale provides a software suite to complement the MC13191 hardware which is called the Freescale

Simple Media Access Controller (SMAC):

• Simple proprietary wireless connectivity

• Small memory footprint (about 3 Kbytes typical)

• Supports point-to-point and star network configurations

• Proprietary networks

• Source code and application examples provided
