Video Timing
The width of the analog horizontal sync pulses and the start and end of color burst is
automatically calculated and inserted for each mode according to CCIR624-4. Color
burst is disabled on appropriate scan lines. Serration and equalization pulses are gen-
erated on appropriate scan lines. In addition, rise and fall times of sync, closed-cap-
tion data transitions, and the burst envelope are internally controlled. Figures 3–6
show the timing characteristics for various Bt856/7 modes of operation.
