Timer Input/Output—The TIO signal provides an interface to the

timer, the TIO is an output, and the signal on the TIO signal is

the timer pulse.

When not used by the timer module, the TIO can be

programmed through the Timer Control/Status Register

(TCSR) to be a General Purpose I/O signal.
